Canadian Service Station Memorabilia Association

Although our club name is the ‘Canadian Service Station Memorabilia Association’, by no means do we limit our membership to Canadian Members. In addition to the over 450 Members coast-to-coast in Canada, we are very proud to have International Members from the United States and Great Britain, and we do extend a very warm and hearty welcome to those from outside of Canada. We also welcome collectors of all oil company brands.
This is an organization for those interested in collecting, preserving, and studying the history or memorabilia, related to the Petroleum/Service Station Industry, Country Store, Malt Shop, etc. Annual Membership Dues are $25.00 for Canadian Members, and $30.00, in Canadian funds, for International Members.
The official club magazine The Garage Door News, is issued quarterly, and an Annual Membership Roster is issued at year end.

New Members are welcome to join the CSSMA at any time during the year, and will receive all previous issues of The Garage Door News, published in that Membership Year. Nearing year end, 1/2 Year Memberships are offered for $12.50, which entitles these members to the Fall and Winter Issues of the GDN, and the Roster.
To become a member of the CSSMA, please click on Membership to print off a Membership Form, which you may then complete and mail as specified below. (PDF Membership Form)(you can download acrobat free if you need it).
Cheques or money orders should be made payable to the Canadian Service Station Memorabilia Association, and mailed to:

I have been a member of this club for the past twenty years, and after holding the position of Secretary for several years, currently hold the positions of President and Membership Chairperson. Our meetings are held quarterly at members' residences, where we can enjoy viewing their collections, or at a designated hall. Mini flea markets are held, preceeding a short business meeting. This gives members an opportunity to buy, sell, trade, and just generally visit. I hosted the August 29, 1999 meeting shown below.

In the background, is my 1927 Service Station Equipment double clear vision pump, which was the first B/A item I acquired, and this got me started on my B/A collection.         Alex Colwell.
