The judges at Vancouver showed excellent taste in selecting Miss Edmonton Eskimo, Betty Beddome, as Miss Grey Cup 1955. The queen showed equal discernment when she rode in the parade by substituting for her crown one of the 5,000 B-A football helmets distributed at game.
