1948:  The new roundel logo, with each half formed by reversing oil droplets, with the letters B and A in place, was introduced.

The old Bow-Tie logo was still used for a short time in conjunction with the roundel logo in order to achieve a smooth and accepted transition to the new logo by the public.

10,000 issues of the Timely Station Topics Magazine and 6,000 issues of the B/A Commentator Magazine were mailed monthly.

The Clarkson Refinery was converted over to its original intended design, the manufacture of lubricants, and became the main manufacturer of them under the B/A name.
